Add a “Shop the Brand” CTA to Reinforce Identity

After learning about your brand, users need a natural next step. If there’s no clear call-to-action, they may leave without exploring your products.

Why?

A “Shop the Brand” CTA bridges the gap between storytelling and shopping, inviting users to explore with a deeper brand connection. This keeps them engaged and increases the likelihood of conversion.

Content
  • Your homepage bounce rate is above 65% and users aren't clicking through to product pages from brand story sections
  • You have strong brand storytelling content but conversion rates remain below 2.5% site-wide
  • Analytics show users scroll through your brand content but exit without exploring products
  • Your store has 1,000+ monthly visitors and established brand story elements on the homepage
  • You're using Shopify, Shopify Plus, or have developer access to edit homepage templates

Place your "Shop the Brand" CTA immediately after your brand story section, before the fold on mobile devices.

  1. In Shopify Admin, navigate to Online Store → Themes → Customize → Homepage
  2. Add a new section or button element after your brand story/about content
  3. Set button dimensions: minimum 48px height, 200-300px width for desktop, full-width for mobile with 16px side margins
  4. Use your primary brand color with high contrast text (minimum 4.5:1 ratio)
  5. Link to your main collection page or curated "brand favorites" collection

  • Measure overall conversion rate increase: typically see 0.3-0.8% lift in site-wide conversion
  • Use Google Analytics Enhanced Ecommerce or Shopify Analytics to track user flow from homepage through purchase
  • AVOID: Placing the CTA before your brand story - users need context before action
  • BEST PRACTICE: Position it immediately after brand content while engagement is high
  • AVOID: Generic text like "Shop Now" that doesn't reinforce brand connection
  • BEST PRACTICE: Use brand-specific language like "Explore Our Collection" or "Shop [Brand Name]"
  • AVOID: Linking to your entire product catalog which can overwhelm users
  • BEST PRACTICE: Link to curated collections or best-sellers that represent your brand identity
