Add Quick Links to Other Collections

If users don't find what they need in one collection, they might leave instead of exploring other options. Without clear paths to other collections, you risk losing potential conversions.

Why?

Introduce quick links to related or popular collections at the top or bottom of the page. This keeps users on-site, encourages exploration, and helps them find products that better match their needs without starting their search from scratch.

  • Your collection pages have bounce rates above 60% or users spend less than 90 seconds browsing
  • Google Analytics shows users frequently return to your homepage or use site search after viewing collections
  • You have 5+ product collections but low cross-collection engagement in your analytics
  • Your store generates $10K+ monthly revenue with established product categories that complement each other
  • You're on Shopify, BigCommerce, or similar platforms with customizable collection templates

Add strategic collection links to keep users engaged when they don't find their perfect match.

  1. Shopify Implementation: Navigate to Online Store > Themes > Edit Code. Open your collection template file (usually collection.liquid or collection-template.liquid)
  2. Positioning: Add quick links in two locations - below the collection header and above the footer. This catches users early and provides a final opportunity before they leave
  3. Link Selection: Choose 3-4 related collections maximum. For a "Dresses" collection, include "Accessories," "Shoes," and "Sale Items." Use your analytics to identify collections with natural user flow patterns
  4. Design Specifications: Create buttons 120px wide minimum, 16px font size, with 20px spacing between links. Use your brand's secondary color to distinguish from primary CTAs
