  1. Locate Your Hero Section: In Shopify, navigate to Online Store > Themes > Customize. Select your homepage hero/banner section.
  2. Position Sub-Copy: Place sub-copy 16-24px below your main headline. Use 18-22px font size (roughly 75% of your headline size) with 1.4-1.6 line height for optimal readability.
  3. Craft Your Message: Write 15-25 words that explain how you deliver on your headline promise. Focus on your unique approach, not generic benefits.
  4. Style for Hierarchy: Use a lighter font weight (400 vs 700 for headlines) and reduce opacity to 80-90%. Maintain your brand's color palette but ensure clear visual hierarchy.
  5. Mobile Optimization: Reduce sub-copy to 12-18 words for mobile. Test at 16-18px font size with 20-24px spacing below headline.
