Use Visuals to Bring Product Benefits to Life

Walls of text don't sell—users skim, and if they don't quickly grasp why your product matters, they'll bounce. A lack of visuals makes it harder for them to connect with your product's real-world value.

Why?

Pair each benefit with an eye-catching visual—icons, infographics, lifestyle images, or short videos. Showing, not just telling, makes benefits more tangible and memorable. The easier it is for users to see how your product fits their life, the faster they'll convert.

  • Your product page time on page is under 45 seconds or bounce rate exceeds 65%
  • Google Analytics shows users scrolling less than 50% down your product pages
  • Your product descriptions are primarily text-heavy with minimal visual benefit explanations
  • You have conversion rates below 2% and receive customer questions about product functionality or benefits

Transform your text-heavy benefit lists into visual showcases that immediately communicate value.

  1. Audit existing benefits: List your current product benefits and identify which ones are purely text-based. Focus on your top 3-4 key benefits first.
  2. Create visual assets: Design icons (64x64px minimum), lifestyle images (1200x800px), or infographics for each benefit. Maintain consistent styling and your brand colors.
  3. Implement in Shopify: Navigate to your product template (sections/product-form.liquid). Add a new section above or below the description using:
